In this book, Carsten Nicolai explores the moiré effect — a phenomenon that can be created by the overlay of lines. Moiré that can be used by curve which take us to waves that are made by the Lissajous figures. This use of logic happens in art all the times, with artist like Sol Lewitt, that use a rule-based art to create their works, as we can see in the work Software Structures and in Logical Conclusions.
